Joshua Chiang
(he/him) is a Taiwanese-American student designer preoccupied with problems of environment, aesthetics, and their patchy intersections within the
designed world.
Currently, Joshua
is a Design Intern at Henning Larsen in New York and a Research Assistant for Hyperlocal. Previously, he has held research and design positions at the Moody Center for the Arts, the Rice University School of Humanities, Shepley Bulfinch, Huitt-Zollars, Rice University Facilities and Capital Planning, and SmithGroup.
At Rice University, Joshua
is a 2024 winner of the Louis Sudler Prize in the Arts. He is also a recipient of the Mary Ellen Hale Lovett Travel Fellowship, the Class of 1965 Scholarship in Architecture, and the S. I. and Susie Morris Endowed Scholarship.
